I bought this model kit during a sale at HHQ Malaysia. This kit is produced by ICM. The kit quality is fairly good. Quite a substantial amount of work was required to cover all the seam lines after assembly. The instruction and parts number are also very confusing. Assembly took about 7-8 hours. I spent another 7-8 hours for painting.

This is the first time I am painting a Winter Camouflage scheme. During the winter, the ground crew painted the aircraft white with any available tools (from brushes to brooms). The quality is really bad and the paint peels off quickly, revealing the original paintwork.

I bought this model kit while I was on holiday in Hong Kong. It is in 1/72 scale, produced by Fujimi.
It has fine recessed panel lines, and the fitting of the model kit is generally good. Assembly took about
4 hours. I spent another 5 hours for painting.

Scale Model

Scale modelling is a subject that creates a replica of an object in a smaller scale. My interest lies in scale modelling work of WWII and modern aircrafts. Occassionally I also build model of armor vehicles.

Before the "outbreak" of the Internet, scale modelling had been a lonely hobby. Nowadays, there are many websites dedicated to scale modelling, from forums to e-commerce website that sells model kits.
